If you are looking to enhance your Open Science skills, you might want to check out the FOSTER portal. FOSTER is an e-learning platform that offers various introductory tutorials that aim to make researchers, as well as research support staff, familiar with all facets of Open Science. On the platform you will find a collection of training materials about Open Access, Open Data, Open Peer Review, Open Licensing, and so on. Additionally, the portal offers training in specific tools to showcase how you can apply various types of software, databases, etc. in your own research.

The tutorials can be followed free of charge. For most courses no previous knowledge is required, although they do also offer more advanced-level resources.

The portal is an outcome of the EU-funded FOSTER Plus project that came to an end in May 2019. However, the platform and courses remain available.
